Goose from Quack’s Juice Factory Review
“Better late than never” Jean Cloud Vape now distributes concentrate flavors from Quack’s Juice Factory.
A palate that became tired of the same old custards that all seem to share exactly the same basic recipe ( 15% Capella Custard V1, 2% TFA Dulche de Leche , 1-2 drops Ethyl Maltol per 10ml finished juice ). And it got BORING!
In particular, I found custard from the Americas overly vanilla drenched. So I met Quack’s Goose Juice ( straight outta New York ) with a little trepidation. Combine this with the unusually short suggested steep time mentioned above, I was doubly concerned!
But any worry was soon dissipated like a large custardy vape cloud in the wind.
The flavour that first hit me, and still does throughout the vape, is an excellent creamy caramel butterscotch note. Very much like a good quality hard candy Werther’S Original. It’s a great flavouring and possibly the highlight of the blend.
Of course, Goose Juice wouldn’t be a custard without, er, custard. And I’m happy to inform you it has it! And what it has is very, very nice indeed. It’s a creamy custard. A really quite tasty creamy custard that isn’t particularly eggy. In fact it’s more like the sort Isle of Custard produce nowadays and we know how popular they are! Ok, so there is a smack of that there vanilla the yanks do so love to lavish their custards with, but Quack’s have managed to keep it’s application under control and to my taste is about spot on for this kind of juice.
What I also like about Goose Juice is it’s light touch of sweetener. It has more than enough sweetness coming from the caramel already, so only a small amount seems to have been added by Quack’s, and again I think they judged this very well indeed.
Goose Juice then is a bloody good caramel custard that does live up to any of the hype I’ve seen on the net. The most surprising thing is that this is a review of a two week steeped custard. I know! Imagine what this could be like in two to three months…or more! If my 150 ml lasts that long, I’ll update this review with my findings!
Goose Juice by Quack’s certainly stands at the top end of the custard ladder and if you like your custards, I’m sure you’ll love this.
