Eleaf certainly presents with this iStick TC 40 W the most refined version of its best-selling line.
Though it’s the same size as an iStick 30 Watts, it offers improved battery life with its 2600 mAh capacity. The fire button has also been redesigned for added comfort, and there is now a “menu” button between the up and down arrows.
The big innovation with this 40 W box is the temperature control feature.
This new iStick offers two operating modes:
– The first is the classic variable wattage (VW) mode, used by many for a long time. You select and adjust the power output of the box just like a regular battery. This iStick has a maximum power of 40 Watts.
– The second mode is TC Ni (Nickel), the main novelty of this iStick. Instead of controlling the heat power, it controls the temperature. You choose the temperature for your coil, and the iStick will always heat at that same temperature. TC mode provides a much smoother vape with consistent “puffs.” It also reduces battery and e-liquid consumption and works when you use nickel coils in your clearomizer. You can select a heating temperature between 100 and 315°C.
