Eleaf certainly presents us with this iStick TC 40 W, the most advanced version of its best-selling range.
The same size as an iStick 30 Watts, it nevertheless offers better autonomy with its 2600 mAh battery. The fire button has also been redesigned for greater comfort, and now there’s a “menu” button located between the up and down arrows.
The major innovation of this 40 W box is its temperature control.
This new iStick features two operating modes:
The first is the classic variable wattage (VW) mode, widely used by many for a long time. You select and adjust the power of the box like a classic battery. This iStick has a maximum power of 40 Watts.
The second is the TC Ni (Nickel) mode, the standout feature of this iStick. Instead of controlling the heating power, you control the temperature. You set the temperature for your coil, and the iStick will always heat at that same temperature. TC mode provides a much smoother vape with consistent “puffs” every time. This mode also offers reduced battery and e-liquid consumption, and it works when using Nickel coils in your clearomizer. You can select a heating temperature between 100 and 315°C.
